With her feet firmly under the table at The HEX Group, we thought it was time to introduce our brilliant Marketing Manager, Sarah Wicks.
Since joining us in June, Sarah has been pivotal to some of the most successful campaigns we’ve ever delivered.
As Marketing Manager, no two days are the same for Sarah! Whether she’s creating and developing marketing strategies for our different divisions, planning and optimising campaigns, or providing guidance and support to the wider marketing team, under Sarah’s leadership, the team goes from strength to strength.
With an impressive 20 years’ experience in marketing and product development—particularly in consumer durables—Sarah brings a powerhouse of expertise to The HEX Group. And that’s not all; she’s also armed with top-notch qualifications, including a CMI Diploma Level 5 in Management and Leadership and a CIM Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, among others.
Sarah has played a key role in recent launches at The HEX Group, such as HEX Graphics’ sustainable vinyl (Vinyl360) and Bri-Stor Systems’ virtual reality prototyping process. She was also instrumental in organising our customer and supplier Open Days in September.
We caught up with Sarah to ask her how she’s finding her role and her experience at The HEX Group so far:
“My first six months have flown by, and it’s fantastic to be part of such a creative team where I get to see our ideas come together and resonate with our customers. The dynamic nature of marketing means no two days are the same, with new challenges often arising. But thanks to our collaborative team, no challenge is left unsolved.
“Looking ahead, I’m excited to see the team grow and take greater ownership of their projects. I look forward to seeing each member bring their unique skills to the table and to harnessing continual learning and development opportunities.
“What I love the most is the diversity The HEX Group offers with its different divisions. There’s always something new to sink your teeth into, whether it’s a sustainable innovation launch or helping organise company events.”
When Sarah isn’t working her marketing magic, she enjoys adventuring with her family, travelling the world, dining out, and practicing yoga.
